Branch Manager

Central Ohio Farmers Co-op, Inc. is seeking to hire a highly motivated individual for a Grain and Feed Branch Manager position in Marion, Ohio.
As a Grain and Feed Branch Manager, you will report directly to the CEO of the company. You will oversee all aspects of the facility, including but not limited to production, quality, costs and safety of the mill that produces feed for animals. Ensure all employees are trained on safety and continue to stay up-to-date. You will be responsible for storing and shipping grain, as well as keeping grain in good condition.
Primary Objectives & Responsibilities
- Direct, promote, and coordinate operations in a manner that will optimize the cooperative's market share and savings
- Work with COFC Safety Manager to ensure a safe environment for employees, customers, contractors, & others on the premises
- Direct employees by providing proper guidance, coordination, leadership, & training
- Provide clear communication to the CEO and CFO
- Work with Grain Division Manager to control grain quality and manage storage
- Responsible for driving improved performance, customer relationships, plant asset utilization, and positive employee relations
- Developing and increasing the customer base and relations Improve the cooperative's efficiency

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or related field
- Minimum of five years feed and custom-mixing experience
- Minimum of five years grain experience
- Minimum of five years management experience
- Must have a valid Driver License and clean MVR for five years
- Must follow all COFC Safety Rules
- Must be able to meet and work with strict deadlines
- Must possess a strong attention to detail
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be able to work at heights

Feed Mill Operator
Nature Pure, LLC
Join our team at the Nature Pure Feed Mill in Raymond, Ohio. Manufacture feed with our computer automation systems that you work with to receive ingredients, grind grains, and mix feed. Take care of housekeeping activities, maintenance and repair of equipment, and quality checks on feed and ingredients. Operate a forklift, skid steer, and boom lift. You must be able to lift 60 pounds and climb ladders and corn legs up to 135 feet. Knowledge of feed manufacturing equipment operation and maintenance preferred but we will train the right candidate. The Operator is responsible for compliance with all company policies, local, state, and federal policies, laws and regulations.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Specific job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

The Ohio Department of Agriculture is seeking qualified candidates for Agriculture Export Administrator in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
What You’ll Do:
You don’t have to know a lot about agriculture, you’ll learn that on the job! You just have to have a willingness to learn and a desire to devote your skills to a greater purpose. This position’s objective is to support and assist Ohio’s agribusinesses to increase their exports of Ohio’s food, forestry and agricultural products. This position is responsible for:
- For the Ohio Department of Agriculture, International and Domestic Marketing Division, developing, leading, and coordinating all aspects of Ohio’s Agriculture Export Program.
- Leads promotional activities including participation in international trade shows, trade missions, and inbound buyer missions; identifies state and federal funding opportunities and assists agricultural exporters of all sizes to begin exports to new markets or identify opportunities to expand existing exports.
- Assists and consults Ohio’s agribusinesses regarding international trade policy, regulations, taxes, and tariffs. Serves as specialist to Ohio food and agriculture producers regarding export development programs and provides recommendations to agency leadership, government officials, commodity groups, and other stakeholders.
- Together with other agency stakeholders and Ohio’s commodity groups, develop and provide training and technical assistance to Ohio agribusinesses.
- Collaborates with Ohio Department of Development Office of Small Business and Global Trade, Food Export Midwest, US Livestock Genetics Export, US Meat Export Federation, and American Hardwoods Export Council, among others.
- Stays current on economic development trends, markets, and opportunities.
- Performs miscellaneous administrative duties (e.g., analyzes reports & studies & recommends course of action)
- Prepares reports & correspondence, coordinates workshops &/or meetings; prepares education materials, scripts, booklets & pamphlets
- Acts as liaison with local, state, & national organizations
- Travels throughout the State of Ohio, U.S., and internationally as-needed.
- This position may have the ability to work a hybrid schedule, up to 2 days per week working remotely.
Qualifications & Skills
