The Details
Work Hours
Full-time, salaried. Employee should set and adhere to his or her own regular schedule and be open to work outside of regular business hours. This is a deadline-oriented job and may require some work on evenings and weekends. Most evening or weekend events are scheduled well in advance, and the need to work outside regular business hours is primarily based on the individual’s ability to plan and meet deadlines during the workweek.
Location
The Shift•ology Communication headquarters is located in COhatch in Springfield, Ohio. This position is hybrid and will involve occasional travel to our office and client offices. While Shift•ology Communication primarily operates as a remote-working team, we equip you with tools and technology to easily connect with clients and teammates from any location. It’s worth noting that office space is available, and in-person attendance is mandatory for specific meetings, events, and activities as scheduled and determined by client needs. The account manager will be required to be in the office up to 6 weeks the first year for training purposes, after which time the schedule will be re-evaluated.
Salary and Benefits Salary is commensurate with experience, paid twice monthly, with bonus potential. Two weeks of vacation/sick leave, including five sick days. The five days of sick leave are available up front, which are prorated for the year based on your hire date. Plus an additional week of vacation is provided the week between Christmas and New Year’s. 401(k) and profit sharing available the Jan. 1 or July 1 after 6 months of continuous employment. Employee health plan available, with $500 employer start-up contribution to HSA, as well as employer-paid basic life/AD&D, short-term disability and long-term disability. Voluntary term life benefit (for employee and dependents) is also available.

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our team. The selected candidate will closely collaborate with the Director of Supply Chains and assist in introducing our certification programs to both Beef x Dairy (BxD) cattle producers and Dairy producers across various stages of the supply chain. Specific duties and key responsibilities for this Internship include, but are not limited to,
- Serve as a positive representation of the Low Carbon Technologies Mission and Core Values
- Assist in the outreach and introduction of LCT's certification programs to BxD cattle producers, emphasizing the benefits of reduced GHG emissions and carbon credits
- Manage and analyze data using LCT’s proprietary data platform to ensure candidate cattle meet certification criteria for both beef and dairy production
- Support activities related to the USDA's AMP Grant initiative, including enrollment of producer participants and data management related to enrolled cattle
- Help develop compliance reporting materials for the AMP Grant, ensuring adherence to USDA guidelines and standards

The Farm Manager orchestrates the seamless integration of various components of Emerson Farms within a sustainable farming system and is the point person with community partners. Crop Planning and Field and Greenhouse Utilization Planning
- Develop comprehensive crop plans optimizing productivity and sustainability.

SUMMARY: To travel to offsite locations throughout the coverage area to perform visual inspection and analysis of grain to determine a grade in accordance with Eurofins Grain Inspection SOPs and USDA grain standards on multiple classes of grain or commodities; to perform mycotoxin and other testing procedures on a variety of commodities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Inspect and grade grain samples accurately and in a timely manner.
Perform tests in accordance with accepted industry practice. Test samples of grain using visual procedures and computerized equipment; test sample for weight, moisture, foreign material, and damage; including mycotoxin and falling number.
Process necessary paperwork required by the Client Company and Eurofins Grain Inspection Manager. Complete appropriate record keeping accurately and legibly.
Responsible for accuracy in reporting results; record test results and provide information to client in the form of a Grain Inspection Certificate. Responsible for timely reporting of billing information to the Rail Inspection Manager in the form of a Rail Report.
Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills. Maintain regular communication with administrative staff regarding job status, progress, problems, etc. Relay information to the Rail Inspection Manager for proper action.
Maintain grain sampling equipment properly and ensures it is in good working order.
Represent Eurofins Grain Inspection to Client Company by acting as a liaison between facility and Eurofins Grain Inspection. Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with subordinates, peers, management, and customers.
Must be able to follow work instructions in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
