People who need to change rarely do

Don't expect the person who needs to change to change.

The Fairy Tale of Change

This is the way change DOESN'T work.

1. Everyone knows something isn't working.
2. You spot something wrong. It is even more dangerous to spot someone doing wrong.
3. You tell everyone to do the right thing.
4. Everyone starts doing the right thing.
5. Everyone is happy.
6. You get promoted.

Real World

People who need to change are masters of tenacity. Bombs cannot penetrate their rationalizations.
