OAIMA/OMMEP & BOLDer Magazine attend Geology Discovery Day at OGS

OAIMA/OMMEP and BOLDer Magazine recently participated in the Ohio Geology Discovery Day at the Ohio Geological Survey’s H.R. Collins Laboratory at Alum Creek State Park. 

Over 200 attendees enjoyed the many hands-on learning activities including our crushing and screening demonstration.  Other activities included a tour of the OGS rock core repository, a wetlands demonstration, fossil and mineral identification and free copies of BOLDer Magazine.

               

Pat Jacomet (OAIMA) and Bronwyn Weaver (BOLDer Magazine) hosted OAIMA/OMMEP both at the recent Geology Discovery Day.
