We believe BOLDer magazine is an excellent addition to our grades 4–6 curriculum, as it supports both science and reading instruction in meaningful, age-appropriate ways. I am so excited to use Bolder Magazine as a resource in our science and social studies classes. I have been going through the magazines I have so far and flagging passages and reading that will add to students’ understanding of important concepts. The articles are colorful and engaging and interesting! They are also kid-friendly and sure to be engaging for our students. After I’ve identified all the articles I want to put in front of students, I will also make them available in my classroom library. I’m sure I’ll find many more ways to include them in our content area reading.
