Ohio BWC Announces Employers Will See Another Rate Reduction

There will be a 6 percent rate reduction

The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) announced that Ohio’s private employers will pay nearly $60 million less in workers' compensation premiums in the next fiscal year due to a 6 percent rate reduction; the BWC board of directors approved the rate reduction.

This follows a 7 percent rate reduction last year, and is the 16th rate reduction in the last 17 years.
