GM, Canadian Union Reach Tentative Agreement

On Wednesday, Canadian labor union Unifor said it had reached a tentative agreement with General Motors for workers at automakers' plant in Ingersoll, Ontario.

Both parties had extended a deadline late on Tuesday for reaching a deal.

The Unifor Local 88 had previously said that 97 percent of its more-than-1,300 members were in favour of stopping work at the CAMI plant if a deal was not reached.
