Dow Rallies 400 Points, S&P 500 up 1 Percent

Wall Street is rebounding from its sell-off

Stocks jumped Tuesday, recovering some some losses from the previous volatile trading session.

The S&P 500 traded 1.6 percent higher. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 416 points, or 1.1 percent; the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite gained 1.7 percent.

All eleven sectors of the broad market index were positive for the day, with tech up nearly 2 percent. Several megacap tech stocks also rebounded after a sharp pullback on Monday. Nvidia rose 4.7 percent, while Meta Platforms advanced 5 percent.
